Crockpot Apple Crisp
Prep Time: 20 Minutes.
Cook Time: 4 Hours.

INGREDIENTS:

1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 cup sugar, divided
3 lbs Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup frozen cranberries
6 tbsp butter, melted
12 vanilla wafers, coarse chopped
1/4 cup sliced almonds



DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix together dry pudding mix, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Toss fruit with 1/4 cup butter in large bowl. Add pudding mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into slow cooker; cover with lid.
Cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours or HIGH 2 to 3 hours.

2. Meanwhile combine chopped vanilla wafers, nuts, remaining butter and sugar in shallow microwaveable dish. Microwave on HIGH 1 minute; stir. Microwave 1 1/2 to 2 minutes
or until golden brown, stirring every 30 seconds Cool.

3. Sprinkle with nut mixture just before serving.

YIELD 12 Servings
Serving Size: 1/2 cup Per Serving
